David Lombeida

David is an independent photographer and filmmaker based in Istanbul, Turkey, documenting the effects of conflict, migration, and disaster on communities throughout the world. His work has been featured in the Washington Post, The Guardian, Bloomberg, Reuters, and CNN, among other publications. David was a finalist in the Arnold Newman Prize in New Directions of Photographic Portraiture in 2022, a judge for the Nikon Photo Contest 2023, and an alumnus of the Eddie Adams Workshop.
